The Best December I’ve ever had in my life…so far…

In every single year of my life, I’ve always anticipated only one same month…the month I’ve considered already “my month”… D-E-C-E-M-B-E-R

Well, this December that had gone was my best, so far…

And here are the dated experiences that I had that made myself consider it “best”…

-+ 10 Dec: A one memorable December day and night, where I witnessed probably one of the most perfect blue sky in the morning and at noon, and a night sky filled with stars at night…

-+ 11 Dec: I already received from the printing shop my pink Westlife t-shirt and yellow Alex Frei t-shirt! (wherein I myself designed the prints)

-+ 12 Dec: I officially turned 16 during this day, and I celebrated my birthday on someone else’s birthday party! Haha, really funny, right? Well, here’s the story; Dec 11 was really the true birthday of this someone I was talking about (my classmate Pia to name this someone) but she eventually had planned to set her birthday party on Dec 12 before I could finalize my own birthday party on the same date. So after classes, we headed straight to Pia’s house and enjoyed her birthday party there! I really enjoyed most when my classmates chanted the birthday girl (on that party only, I was the real birthday girl actually right?) “happy birthday Pia”…and then “happy birthday CHAMY”…alternate ways, hehe! And afterwards Pia blew the candles on her birthday cake, and surprisingly she didn’t blow the one remaining lighted candle there…for me! I was the one who blew the last candle of someone else’s birthday cake! Haha! And after that, everyone clapped and cheered loud. Haha, that’s how i enjoyed my day, then!

-+13 Dec: Actually, I never planned to have my own birthday party any longer since I enjoyed my birthday anyway at Pia’s birthday party. But surprisingly, I got home last night seeing over there on the kitchen loads of uncooked pasta, uncooked chicken, paper plates, spoons and forks…signifying that I”LL BE HAVING MY BIRTHDAY PARTY THE NEXT DAY TO THAT. I was at first a sort of irate, for I was sure I won’t be expecting a huge number of visitors since I won’t be able to invite my classmates any longer that time because this day was Saturday, a weekend…when people mostly gather at malls or somewhere else to relax. So who can I invite to my party, then? Well it’s good that we had our last sesion of MTAP in our school early morning on this day, and I was able to invite most of those who attended there! I had them in our house, plus some of my mother’s colleagues in our church, and some of the ministers in our church, too, wherein my most special guest among them probably was Ka Alex, the pastor of our locale

—Strictly Filipino mode na dito! Nahihirapan nako eh, putek! Ska pra mas mabilis!—

Next story; Eto mron pang patawa pro super pang-asar tlg skin eh…biro nyo, dumating ako kasama yung iba sa mga kaklase ko s bahay (kc hndi kmi nagsabay-sabay eh…may mga nagmall pa muna.) HINDI PA LUTO MGA HANDA KO?! Lang ya oh…kakahiya, pro naintindhan nman nla yun, kht hndi ko naintndhan bkit gnun, haha. Ayun, sa kwarto ko muna sila pnagstay, pnagdiskitahan tlg nila agad ung PC nmen, palibhasa may internet n un,haha! Yung iba nman humiga nlng muna s kama nmen. During the party, first kumain muna sila. Eh mga nagutom s nkakabagot na 2-hr session ng MTAP eh. Tpos kantahan mode na with the videoke na kadadala lng sa bahay ni papa. Xhet, sobrang daming kanta nun! Pti ung mga super latest songs nandun n, kya pinagdiskitahan tlg ng mga kaklase ko eh! Yung ibang boys nagbasketball sa mini-basketbolan sa likod ng bahay nmen. (at yung iba kapal muks p tlg, nanghiram p ng tsinelas smen, hehe) At yung iba, ayun kumpulan sa kama, babae lalaki, halo halo n un, bhla na sino sino mgkakayakap, hehe!

6:00 PM sila umuwi, pro naiwan ung apat kong kaklase na niyaya ko magsleep-over smen. YUp, nag-invite ako for sleep-over, at 1st time lng yn tlg n pinayagan ako ni mama. Eh actually, yn lng tlg plano ko pra s birthday ko eh…wla tlgng bday party at all. Una nming gnawa, tinuloy nmen ung kantahan s videoke n mraming kanta, hanggang sa namilipit n mga lalamunan nmen. Minutes later, dumating n yung mga matatandang mga kasama ni mama sa pananalapi, hehe! Kaya pumasok na kami sa kwarto at nagkulong na doon habang nag-iingay ang mga gurang sa labas, hehe! PAgkauwi ng mga yun, ska kami nagdinner. Pgktpos mghilamos, mgtutbrush at mgbihis ng damit pantulog, ayun deretso agad sa kama, konting forum bout sa ilan sa mga controversial classmates nmen. Eh ksma p nga s mga plano nmen ung gumawa ng term paper s El Fili eh, pti mnood ng DVD. Pro ayun, deretso tulog n agad kme, tabi-tabi kming lima, mdyo siksik pro ok lng dn, and sweet dreams n…:)

-+ 14 Dec: Good morning, sleep over-mates! Pgkagising nmen eh reklamo agad kmi, ubo nang ubo ung isa nming ksama nung gabi, hehe! Nagharutan p kmi konti sa kama, hampasan ng unan, hgaan sa knya-knyang pwet, tpos tnawag na kami ni mama for breakfast…Sopas mode kmi, at hbng kumakain, ang madaldal 4evr kong ina, ayun bumuo ng srili nyng forum tungkol sa mga karekla-reklamong nonstop bayarin sa MUNSCI, hehe! And then after nun, nkiligo si Lou, at nag-ayos na sila. 8 AM nun, umuwi na sila…with a smile!

-+ 16 Dec: Concert for a cause ng MUNSCI teachers and staff for Ma’am Renz na ginanap sa Sports complex! Grbe khit super paos ako nung araw na ito, todo pdn pagtili ko with my classmates sa bwat song and dance numbers ng mga teachers! Lalo nman nung nagjumbo-hotdog ung mga lalaking teachers nmen! Xhet nagtopless pa sila grbe laglag panty ko dun,hehe! At syempre, pnakamemorable para sa Pauli ung moment ni MA’am Carol, adviser nmin…ntanggal ung isa nyang sandals nung sumasayaw siya ng “sway”, woo!

-+ 17 Dec: Biglaan pero super blessing tlg skin…Nkakita ako ng isang itim na DVD s mga concerts s Oddysey, title nun “10 YEARS OF WESTLIFE LIVE AT CROKE PARK STADIUM”…Woo walang kaeffort-effort! Ngkroon ako agad, ang saya! (Nauna pa sa unang ngrelease na WESTLIFE OUR STORY n libro eh, tsk2)

-+ 19 Dec: Christmas Party sa school na ginawang ordinaryong party nalang actually gawa ng may mga KJ na tao smen na bwal se religion nila ang pasko (prang smen, pro umaattend pdn ako x-mas party, hehe) at para lng mapasama ung mga un, ayun tnanggal ung mga x-mas decors ng room nmen, ung mga pinambalot s regalo wlng konek s x-mas…ordinaryong party nlng, oh db! 9 AM dpt kmi ngsimula eh. Sobrang late nman ung adviser nming si Ma’am Carol. Sinalubong xa ng buong Pauli sa gate ng school eh, pang-asar lng hehe! At pinagspeech nmen pgdating s room bkit xa late! During the party nman, naggames muna. Ah, sinalihan ko halos lht ng games eh, at pinakaexciting xkn tlg ung pasukan ng lapis sa damit, bsta ksama un s mechanics ng game n un. Lang ya ung isa kong kagrupo dun, muntik nko mahipuan sa -toot- ko! Padalos-dalos na pinasok ung kamay nya s pantalon ko pra abutin ung lapis, hehe! Then after nun, xmpre ngutom n kme kya kainan na! Lang ya ung Shakey’s na inorder nmen, bitin tlg, wlang gravy ung chicken, liit ng brownies, tpos zesto lng inumin?! Toink. After kainan, exchange gift n kmi! Ayun, ung nsa wish list ko nga ung niregalo skin ng nkabunot skin; Yellow hooded jacket!

Next stop; Dretso ako ksma ng mga kabanda ko sa jammingan…yup, mmber ako ng isang kabubuo lang na all-girl-rock band para makasali kmi sa battle of the bands ng school n mngyyri mmya nang gabi, kya polishing kme nito. Xa nga pla, “Girls Like Boys” ang naisip nming pangalan ng banda. Eh kme lng kc tlg mga baklang ksali sa battle eh. Lam nyo un…yung foreign rock band n ‘Boys Like Girls’, binaliktad lng nmen. Korni nuh? Toink. 6 bands kming lht n mglalaban-laban. 3 songs each, wherein mron isang contest piece; isang nkakabagot na pampaskong knta ng Apo Hiking Soc, nirock nmen! Nung gabi, balik school kmi. Ayn, bhla na si batman sa performance nmen, hahaay.

Last portion of the day; BANDAGE (battle of the bands ng MUNSCI) Kmi ung 2nd to the last performer eh. Bago kmi mgperform, todo pray-over kming lima sa likod, woo! Tpos it’s time for Girls Like Boys to rock the stage! Todo cheer mga classmates nmen s pnkaharapan eh. Ayun 1st n pnerform nmen ung contest piece, wherein ako ung s rhythm guitar. Wow, infairness inenjoy tlg nmen ung pagtugtog eh. Next dun ung 1st chosen song nmen, ung “Ang Pag-ibig kong ito” version ng Moonstar 88. Mbagal un pro ok xa pangbandage. And I got the bass n nga pla dun. (ako sa bass guitar) Tpos ung huli nming kanta, ung ngpabuhay tlg sa audience; “Breathless” ng The Corrs. Oo, super old song n un, pro at least lively nman. Napalakpak nmen ung mga nanunuod nang sabay-sabay! Mdyo sumablay nga lang kming lima s outro, huhu. At pgktpos smen ung banda na super supported ng section nmen; “Very Sweet Caroline” pangalan ng banda nila. Xhet, perfect ng performances nila as in prang pro band ung ngperform eh! Tpos hinaluan p un ng vocalist nun ng kwela, dinawit p mga pngalan nila FPJ, Rico Yan, at Marky Cielo? Hahahaay! Aftr nlang mgprform, picturan sa baba. Ako? Ayun…naging emosyonal ako bgla. Narealize ko kc bgla na…sila, naibigay nla ung best nila tlg sa last bandage experience nla, (Kasi last yr n nmen s MUNSCI db?) ako ang dami kong mistakes s pagbabass ko eh. Nahalata pa nga ako ng vocalist ng VSC paluha n. Then, umupo ako sa tabi ng vocalist ng banda nmen, mdyo nag-eemo dn. Intermission numbr nun, tnugtog ung ‘Tuwing umuulan at kapiling ka”…xhet, nkakaiyak sobra. Bumagay sa nafifeel ko nung mg oras n un…haay

Minutes later, AWARDING n! Hanep VSC, binakaw lht ng awards eh! Best vocs, best guitarists at drummer, s banda nila lht galing! Eto pa, sila dn People’s choice at hgit s lht, best band! Eh di nagdiwang na mga kklase ko! Eh dpt ako mgng msaya dn pra s knila kc mga kklase ko un eh, at karangalan ng section nmen un…pro ayun pdn ako, in tears. Pro pgkaannounce ng 2nd runner-up na band oh…”Ang gaganda ng members nito…GIRLS LIKE BOYS!!!” Xhet, napatakbo agad ako s hrapan eh pra kunin ung certificate! At may consolation prize money p kmi, 300 php hehe! Lalong bumuhos mga luha ko eh…unbelievable tlg! Npangitan ako s performance nmen eh, pro bait tlg ni God, woo! Kya todo party nung gabing un eh, lalo na ng section nmen, lht ng representatives, may award!

Bsta…ako ngng pnakaemosyunal na tao during that night…Haay grabe un.

-+ 27 Dec: Finally, after contemplating for so long pra lng matuloy, natuloy na dn s araw na ito ang PAGMIMEET-UP NG MGA ORIG LIFERS NG WILD WEST BUFFS, ang clan ng mga Westlife die-hard fans na last year p mgkakakilala at sa txt lng tlg ngkakausp, pro today ay nagkita-kita at ngksma-sama ndn, woo!!! Sino-sino mga kasama dapat? Ako, si Khriszy n bestfrnd ko s clan evrsnce, si Mich na best kakwelahan ko nman, cna ate Leah, ate Mitch at ate Lala. Pro sino-sino lang mga nksma? Ako, si khriszy, si ate Leah, at si Mich na pnkasurprise tlg s EB n un! Eh kc…bsta ang dming ngng complications, ayoko n i-cite. Cguradong may mgagalit. Pro at least ntuloy xa! First story dyn, sbay kmi ni Mich na pumuntang SM Mall of Asia (Hndi tlg dpt jn ang usapan eh…sa SM NorthEdsa tlg kng saan pwd tlg kming lht, pro dhl nga s cnasabi ko knina na complications, ayun nabago…bsta! Pro hndi tlg alam ng iba na mkksama itong si Mich samin, kc ang alam ng lht bukod xkn, nsa probnsya n xa. 1PM ang uspan eh, pro pgdtng nmin dun wla p ung dlwa, sina Khriszy at Ate Leah. Kya ayun, nglakad-lakad konti s npkalaking MOA, kumain sa Jollibee, nagWestlife soundtrip, hnggng sa mgstay kmi s Baywalk dun at doon n kme nghntay. Grbe, naenjoy tlg nmin ung view dun eh…kakarelax. Dun kme ngkabonding ni Mich nang todo; kwentuhan both private and West-lives. Around 4:00 PM un nung mgtxt si Ate Leah n nsa MOA n xa. Oo, super nalate xa pro di bale n, at least dumating xa nuh! Sa national bookstore nmin xa tinagpo. Pro nung una eh d nman xa mhanap! Pro thre is this suspicious girl na prng may inaantabay dn eh, kala nmen nung una xa n un. Eh may Westlife Our story na libro dun (at un dn ang unang beses tlg n mkakita ako ng aktwal na WL Our story book, woo! Pro wla akong pera nun eh, huhu) Plano nmen. mgpapansin sa girl na un gmit ung libro, xmpre kng xa nga un eh papansinin kmi agad nun, Pro nyokz, may ksma pla xang mtanda, kay imposible nang xa un. Kya gnawa nmen ni Mich, nagpapage kme sa loob dn ng National bookstore…pangalan ng pinapage nmin sosyal; LEAH BYRNE! At hndi p mbsa nang maayos ng ngpapage dun ung word na Byrne eh…Bryne p unang pgkbasa nya,hehe! After nun, nghntay kmi pro wlng sumipot. Until papalabas na kmi ng bookstore, at napansis ko may sumusunod na babae s likod ni MIch. Aba! Si Ate Leah n pla yun oh! Umepektib ung papage nmen s knya, haha! Tpos tambay kme s event center kng saan ngcoconcert si Charlie Green, toink. At nung msabi ko k Ate Leah na si Mich tlg ung ksma ko at hndi si “Em” na una kong pakilala s knya, at first no reaction at all eh. Tpos konting gap…ayun, nagulat dn, hehe. Tpos ayun, todo kwentuhan at picturan n kmi! Hnhntay lng nmen si khriszy na s mniwla o sa hndi, 7PM na dumating! Sa national bookstore dn nmen xa tinagpo. Nung una, mron dn kming ngng maling suspetsa na xa, kc nman ang daming nkaitim ang damit at bag na tao dun eh un dw pra mkilala nmin xa, hehe! Hnggng s tumambay muna kmi dun sa shelf kung san nktgo ung WL Our story book. Un muna pnagdiskitahan nming tatlo. Until sumilip ako s entrance ng bookstore at…ayun, nkita ko na xa! Ngtago ako agad pro nkita dn pla nya ako! Xhet nung mgksma-sma n kmi oh…pra akong nalantang petsay na bgla n nmang pinagimbabawan ng hiya! Ayun, sbi ko dumeretso n agd kmi sa last agenda which was ung pgvivideoke kc super late n xa eh, hndi n tuloy mggwa p ung mga nauna kong plano dun. Oo, tampo ako s knya kaya hndi ko muna xa mxdong dinidikitan nun. Hbng hnahanap nmin ung Timezone kng saan kmi ngvideoke, ayun ginugulo nya ko; kalabit nang kalabit s likod ko, haha. Akala nya kc gnun tlg galit ko s knya eh. Until mkrating kmi s Timezone at nabakante ung isang videoke booth dun. Takbo agd kmi s loob, bumili ng card na nainosente nman ako kc hndi gnun s ibang vdeoke booths s mga malls n npuntahan ko eh, haha. Tpos s loob ng booth, ayan nkabonding nko ni Khriszy! 5 songs nga lng na xmpre puro Westlife lht ng nakanta nmen. Pinakawacky ung “When You’re Looking Like that”, pinakasenti ung “*Us Against the World”. (At nga pla, nasira ko pa ung plug ng mic dun, nputol ko, hehe!) Pgktpos ng kntahan na may halong todo picturan pa un, konting kulitan at twanan, tpos bglang humirit si Ate Leah, nilabas ung Westlife poster nya na pingkaguluhan nmin agad. Pinasulat nya kmi dun ng dedications nmin s knya. Tpos pgkalabas ng booth, ayun time to say goodbye n kay Khriszy. Hinug nya ako, at bago xa tuluyang makaalis,inabot ko s knya ung isa kong picture ni Shane n may message s likod. At pgkalabas ng MOA, ayun ngknya-knya n kming skay pauwi. The best ang EB ntoh, grbe! -_+

-+ 31 Dec: Eto, during this day, nsa probinsya n kmi, Dun kc kmi nagbagong taon. Pnu ko inenjoy ang New Year’s Eve kht ulan nang ulan nun, hmft? Xmpre nkipapak sa Litson at iba png handa dun, tpos pgsapit ng alas dose, ayun tambay sa labas at nanuod sa mga pinsan ko at ung tito kong kano na gsto yta tlg mputukan eh 1 centimeter apart lng s mga pinapaputok! Ayun ngpaputok sila! Grbe hrap huminga nun, puro usok n! Pro enjoy mnuod ng mga fireworks kht nkabingi tlg ung iba n bgla nlng pumuputok kht hndi inaasahan! Biro mo fountain puputok n kasing lakas ng pla pla? Haha! Pti ung Kwitis na hindi lumipad at pumutok s baba? Grabe! Pro enjoy tlg ang lht, gandang pangfinale s December kong ito…

NOw you know! I’m happy to share all of these to everyone so i hope you guys enjoyed my stories! This has been much longer than expected, haha!

These were all the experiences I had during the LOVE month…February!

Well, there it goes…the love month! And what can’t be truly missed on this special month for every 3rd year and 4th year student is…the JUNIORS-SENIORS PROMENADE…This was the most unforgettable and enjoyable experience I’ve had for this month…

I was then a first timer for this…since I’m a third year student. Days prior to the prom night, I was already being curious of what I can experience there. I asked some of my friends, even my textmates from faraway cities, everyone who had already experienced the prom. They told me, "It is one experience you shouldn’t ever miss, because that’s just twice in a lifetime." I first planned not to attend since…first, I’m like "allergic to wearing such gowns". I will have to wear high heels, which I really hate ’cause I might stumble with them. I will have to wear make ups even! And I was feeling nervous! What if I’ve done something that would put myself to total embarrassment there? But…with all these thoughts I had about being in the prom…hah! They all went wrong…as I attended the prom, and I never thought…that’s gonna be that enjoyable than I thought it could be…

I was almost late, but glad I still got there. I first registered, then finally headed inside the prom room. The prom venue was then a hotel, and I go to hotels just very seldom, that’s why I got excited while I was there. I entered the prom room with…my BF…haha, just ‘best friend’! I sat on a table where my friends were there. I tried to look around the environment I was being with during that time…and I realized…there was nothing to be ashamed of…nothing on the gown I was wearing, nothing on the way I looked…nothing on the way I executed acts…just did things in normal way! I was just like the others there…beautiful…formal…just satisfactory.

Me and my friends…we took lots of pictures…wacky pictures mostly! Then we even roamed the entire room, with my high heels…I just felt at ease walking with my high heels during that time,haha! Well, ofcourse if there’s good, there’s bad! I hate it…my nose…it’s running! I had my runny nose during the prom. That made me feel very uncomfortable for wiping my nose all the time…hah!

We ate dinner…then more extra-curricular activities…the announcement of ProM King and Queen, and Prom Prince and Princess…until it came…to the "dance dance" part of the night…

First, I thought the songs that will be played were all romantic songs…ofcourse everyone’s expected to do some sweet dance…the partners for life…the lovers…boyfriends and girlfriends…and those who just want to gain experience! Heh, it was just surprising that the first series of songs played were all…pure DANCY-POP SONGS! So we really danced to the music! Different partners, different songs, really enjoyable!!! Until the song played just suddenly shifted to…a love song…

There’s those partners…danced very sweetly, and they really looked very romantic…

Me? I…approached my…"prom date"…we sat on one table…just the two of us together and talked about interesting things…then we danced…sweet dance…while I was there on that moment…with my arms around his neck, and his hands on my waist…I felt warm…There were lots of them seeing us together, dancing…we’re not "us" actually…as in he’s not my BF, and I’m not his GF. But I didn’t mind that at all…It’s like I just forgot everything around me…It was then a very wonderful dream moment…It was my very first time to experience that kind, and I enjoyed it…I’ll never forget it. That’s all that matters…xoxo

The prom night ended with smiles on everyone’s face! Me? Yeah ofcourse…I even told to myself giggling…that I’M GONNA MISS THIS! Next year, it’s gonna be my last, so I won’t miss that! Being in the prom…whoa, simply the best! I loved it! Woo!

Yeah, the prom night really gave color to my February month for this year that I’ve already assumed to be the best year I will ever have. On this month, I had another great opportunity again to see CHICOSCI in a live performance! Same spot, same companions, same band! But not the same enjoyment! Hah…we just went unlucky not to reach the band in the parking lot. We did lots of effort, but hooh…we failed. Anyway, that’s another experience to remember…seeing them again performing with my own eyes…It was pure rocking!!! Great! -_+

And on one day, I’ve once seen again the beauty of Manila Bay…its beautiful view…the blue wide waters running slowly…the tall buildings faraway…the wide cloudy sky…the groups of ships…really nice view…I love that.

Hah! what awaits on the MARCH-ing month? Hope it’s going to be great, thoug we’re going to undergo series of loaded EXAMINATIONS, sheez! But anyways, after all those exams, it’s the roadway to…SUMMER VACATION!!! Woo, finally!!!

These are what I had experienced on my January Days for the year 2008…-_+

Hah…my January days for this year that I have already assumed as ‘the best year I will ever have in my entire life’, were now over…but they didn’t go over just like that simple, cuz for me, those days are meant to be treasured….-_+

Beginning with the Search for Mr. and Ms. Muntinlupa Science Highschool pageant that I joined in…that was really a very unforgettable experience for me, since that’s just my first time to join in a very challenging and DARING contest like that! As much as I know to myself, I’ve never wished to join in a beauty pageant! I guess I was just too lucky that even I wasn’t the biggest winner on that pageant, I still gained ‘experiences’ being there…-_+

Secondly was my second experience to attend a live band concert! But this was even more special than the first, cuz here, I’VE FINALLY SEEN CHICOSCI PERFORM LIVE! Chicosci is one of my top3 most favorite and loved OPM (Original Pinoy Music) rock bands, and I’m very very delighted to finally see them rocking with my own eyes! Ow my god! The moment I was watching them during their performances, singing some of their songs…hah! I was totally immobile to where I was standing, while the people around me were almost looked insane, doing some jumping and head banging! Haha, but all in all, I really enjoyed it. It was all fuN! But the most delighting moment there…was the band members’ autograph signing after their concert, where the audience who watched their performance were able to APPROACH all the band members closely and have the autograph. OW MY GOD, I just can’t imagine what I was feeling when my two friends and I were finally standing infront of the band members, after waiting for so long on that very long line of people! We took some autographs from them, then took some pictures with them, some shake hands and a lil bit of chatting! But me…I was the only one among the three of us…who asked a picture with my most fave member there (which is the bassist, Calde), and even put his arm on my shoulder WITHOUT KNOWING he would really do that! And there the click of the cam goes…click! And we have the shot…the picture-perfect shot! Very unforgettable! -_+

And if there are happy stories, there are the sad ones,too… This was also the month when…my ’super special loved’ person finally says goodbye to me…as he with his wife and his only one son who had also been my close friend…flew their way to Las Vegas, which is islands apart from here in the Philippines, and sadly…they’ll be living there for the rest of their lives…yeah, they will never come back here. I will never have again another chance to be with him…so I will be missing him so much. Right now, I’m already missing him.
